Anyone who is interested in building a strong Azeri Diaspora in Alberta is welcome to become a Member of Alberta Azerbaijani Cultural Society!
Advantages of becoming a member of ALACS:
1) Members are not responsible for Society debts (under Society Act);
2) All members of ALACS have equal rights to give their votes in decision making issues within ALACS;
3) Only Members of ALACS will receive annual report on financial activities of ALACS.
In order to become a member of ALACS one (at age of 18 or older) must fill out and submit the Membership Application Form to info@alacs.biz. The application form will be successful if supported by majority of present ALACS members. ALACS will give further instructions to successful applicants.
The ALACS Membership Fee (20$/year for employed members, 10$/year for students and 5$/year for low-income and unemployed members) will be used for organization of various activities of ALACS. All present members have to pay MF in January of each year. New members have to pay MF within 3 weeks after acceptance to ALACS. ALACS accepts cash, money orders and money checks. This also applies to various donations to ALACS. If one cannot pay MF in person, he/she is advised to contact info@alacs.biz for other payment methods instructions.
Please, note that by filling out and signing ALACS Membership Application Form, you have agreed with ALACS Bylaws.
