Canadian maple leaf  is a symbol of Canada, our present home, while a fire flame is a symbol of Azerbaijan (Azerbaijan - The Land of the Fire), the heart of our Heritage. Thus, Azerbaijani symbol located inside the Canadian symbol, stands for an Azerbaijani community established in Canada.
