2nd Azerbaijani National Cooking workshop

Alberta Azerbaijani Cultural Society is proud to announce successful completion of the second national cooking workshop "Azəri Yeməkləri"!

As in First National Cooking Workshop, the aim of this workshop was to share our experiences in preparation of Azeri national food (North+South), to enjoy the best food in the world and to prepare a menu for the Azeri Pavilion in Heritage days 2007.

This family event took place on Sunday, October 23  2006 at Turkish Canadian Community Centre, which is located at

15450- 105 Av, NW, second floor, from 11AM till 5PM. 

Winners of the 2nd National Cooking Workshop are:

1st place: Farid bey (24 votes for the cooking of Zaresh-Pilav)

2nd place: Aygun and Sabina (23 votes for gutabs)

3rd place: Taravat khanim (14 votes for the third place for cooking sabzi kuekue).

Our winners left with wonderful prices and everyone asked to repeat "Azeri Yemeklari" workshop in future! Click here to look at pictures and recipes.
