From "Atalar
Sozlari" to Proverbs
|
Atalar sozlari (proverbs engl.)
have an important place in Azerbaijani culture. Word-to-word
English translation of "atalar sozlari" will be "fathers' words",
which also counts for advices given by wise elders to young
generations.
Currently
proverbs posted in our web-site
are in Azeri language. Within "Bridging between Cultures" ALACS
invites you to translate atalar sozlari to proverbs. Send your
translated proverbs to
contact@alacs.biz and we will publish them online. This is one
way to introduce Azerbaijani Culture in Canada and will help
international communities in Canada in understanding of our
